“I have chosen the road of justice, beyond politics and based on our shared humanity.”— Eli Sharabi, United Nations Human Rights Council, Geneva, October 1, 2026

October 7 – Justice Without Borders (O7J) is proud to represent Eli Sharabi and his family pro bono in their pursuit of justice and accountability.

Eli’s address to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) reflects the core of our work: bringing survivors’ voices forward, building the evidentiary basis for accountability, and pursuing justice through legal and human rights mechanisms — beyond politics and grounded in our shared humanity.

We were proud to partner with the Jerusalem Institute of Justice in bringing Eli’s statement before the Council during the 63rd session, under Agenda Item 9. His message called on the United Nations and States to act: to investigate, prosecute and end impunity.

For O7J, representation does not end with documenting crimes. We work to transform victims’ voices and evidence into concrete avenues for accountability — pursuing criminal accountability for perpetrators, masterminds and accomplices before domestic and international prosecutors and courts; supporting civil litigation in Israel and the United States; and engaging with UN mandate holders and human rights mechanisms.

Our work spans jurisdictions including Israel, France, Germany, the United States and The Hague, working with international partners to pursue accountability wherever legal avenues are available.

At the same time, O7J builds the evidentiary foundations necessary for future proceedings and advances policy on issues including sexual violence, digital terrorism, victim rights, and the prosecution of perpetrators in Israel, including fair trials and adapted procedures for the evidence and circumstances of atrocity crimes.

From Kibbutz Be’eri and other crime scenes to prosecutors, courts and international institutions, our aim is to ensure that victims are represented and that the evidence reaches the places where accountability can be pursued.

Today, O7J provides direct legal representation to more than 480 victims.

This work is about justice — not revenge, not politics, but humanity.

Eli Sharabi’s words at the Human Rights Council capture this principle:

“Name these crimes. End impunity.”
