  1. OUR ACTIONS

Spearheading an unmatched, global, victim-centered legal action to end impunity for Hamas atrocities in five different continents:

  • ICC: based on our unique and pioneer representation directly from Israel and at The Hague, we issued the first complaint (15-31 October 2023) to ICC Prosecutor for victims of the Oct7 atrocities. (November 2023 to date) unmatched vital participation in investigations, direct evidence from represented survivors, key witness statements and more; (20 November 2024) groundbreaking arrest warrant, recognizing Hamas attack constituted extermination, rape, sexual violence, torture and more. (forward-looking 2025) recognition of systematic rape and sexual violence committed on Oct7, at Nova and several Kibbutzes; linking Hamas modus operandi with like-minded terrorist groups, using Women as Weapons of War

  • Legal action to end impunity: criminal cases – ICC arrest warrant recognizes rape and sexual violence used as a weapon of war in specific cases – we will pursue until all cases are recognized. Cooperating with international fact-finding missions to establish the truth with working groups and special rapporteurs on human rights (e.g., enforced disappearance, torture, ICCPR, CEDAW)

  • Civil lawsuits against terrorist infrastructure:  against States Supporting Terrorism and corporations financing terrorism and that contributed to the Oct7 atrocities, e.g. UNRWA in NY for crimes against humanity, including for sexual crimes and torture

  • Civil lawsuit for Shani Louk z”l and her family against AP and Reuteurs: crossing the lines between ‘reporting’ and actively taking part in atrocities- the ‘journalists’ were perpetrators. Just like they would not disseminate murder “live” they should never have been in communication before, during, or after with perpetrators and then disseminate and profit from the ‘Trophy of War’ parade of Shani Louk’s body (it turned out in retrospect—torture and grief for the family; vicarious trauma for the nation.

  • Germany: leading legal action with German Crimes Against Humanity Prosecutor (since December 2023) for German citizens (since May 2024) for all nationalities under universal jurisdiction, including for sexual crimes committed on and since Oct 7.

  • Expertise in collecting and preserving evidence related to CRSV, including exclusive partnership with international experts specifically on CRSV. They chose only us in Israel, we chose only them internationally to empower our action based on their experience in 90 different conflict zones worldwide.

  • Advancing policy and legislative change:

  • directly with MOJ- specified women's units, torture, slavery and human trafficking;

  • directly with Israel Parliamentarian MK Shelli Tal Mairone, (Yesh Atid), coalition with Aurore Berge (French Ministre déléguée auprès du Premier ministre, chargée de l'Égalité entre les femmes et les hommes et de la Lutte contre les discriminations);

  • directly with the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic, Harry Radzyner Law School, Reichman University – that Yael founded in 2014 and leads – for long-lasting impact;

  • in partnership with Israel grassroot NGOs Round Table, co-led or under the auspices of Israel Women's Network (Shdulat Nashim, Tal Hochman);

  • We are partnering with experts on Global Justice and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence worldwide.
