Att. Yael Vias Gvirsman
Founder and CEO of October 7 Justice,
Director of the Criminal and International Humanitarian Law Clinic at the Radziner School of Law, Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya
Att. Yael Vias Gvirsman is a leading expert in criminal and international humanitarian law, with 20 years of litigation experience representing victims of crimes against humanity worldwide.
Yael is a graduate of the Humanitarian Department at the UN Secretariat in New York, the International Law Department at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Attorney’s Office, and the International Affairs Department at the State Attorney’s Office. Over the years, she has been involved in humanitarian aid and international law across multiple arenas.
She is the first Israeli woman to represent clients at The Hague—both in defense and in victim representation—setting legal precedents and successfully handling cases from start to finish. Since 2008, she has consistently presented arguments before four international criminal tribunals, including those for Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and the former Yugoslavia. She has appeared before the High Court of Justice since 2011 and has worked extensively on cases related to war crimes, victim representation, and strengthening investigations of international crimes in Ukraine, Congo, Sudan, and other regions.
In addition to her legal practice, Yael advises international organizations in her field of expertise. She is the founder of the Criminal and International Humanitarian Law Clinic at Reichman University, a board member of the ALMA Association for the Advancement of International Humanitarian Law, and a member of both the International Law Association (ILA) and the War Crimes and Human Rights Forum of the International Bar Association (IBA).
Att. Casandra Sol Sans
Senior Researcher in International Law
Casandra holds an LL.B and JD from the University of Buenos Aires (International Public Law orientation) and an LL.M in Human Rights from the National University of Lanús. She teaches Public International Law at the University of Buenos Aires and is a guest professor of Human Rights and Guarantees. She is also a consultant researcher in a research project on racial discrimination at the University of Buenos Aires and has been part of research teams on gender violence and gender perspective in education. In the past, she was legal advisor to the Directorate of Gender Policies of the Argentinean Ministry of Defense and legal advisor to the Argentinean Ministry of Women, Gender, and Diversity. She was an academic tutor of the Diploma in Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights (University of Buenos Aires) and was a volunteer consultant at the Permanent Assembly for Human Rights. Casandra speaks Spanish, English and Hebrew.
Nomi Gerber
Paralegal
Nomi Gerber is a legal assistant at O7J. She is a double bachelor's degree student in law and business administration at Reichman University, a graduate of the Clinic for International Criminal and Humanitarian Law, and the state attorney's practicum. In the past, She worked as a pre-internship in a firm specializing in international commercial litigation and served in the army as an observer in the combat collection corps. Nomi speaks Hebrew and English.


Mili Bach
Chief Investigator
Mili has approximately 20 years of operational experience in the fields of investigations and intelligence within the public sector and government offices.
She founded and managed the Investigations Department at the Ministry of Justice, which dealt with digital crime and managed complex investigative cases, establishing interfaces and operational collaborations with investigative, intelligence and security bodies in Israel and abroad.
Mili holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics; an LL.B. and a law license, and an Executive MBA, all from Tel Aviv University.

Shira Sela
Paralegal
Shira is a legal assistant at O7J. She is a student with a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at Reichman University, a graduate of the clinic for public international law, and a practicum under the state attorney's office. Before that, Shira worked as a PR assistant in a public relations office and as a spokeswoman in the Navy under the IDF Spokesperson. She speaks Hebrew and English.
Michalya Schonwald Moss
Chief Advancement Officer
Michalya brings over 20 years of experience in building strategic partnerships, managing multi-sector collaborations, and providing philanthropic advisory services to the social justice sector.
As the Chief Advancement Officer at O7J, Michalya leads the advancement initiatives, focusing on enhancing the organisation's impact through capacity building, donor relations, and external communications.
Michalya holds a BA from Columbia University and an MA in International Development from the University of the Witwatersrand.


Garance Gottfarstein
Operations & Special Projects Manager
Deeply committed to the well-being of Israeli society and Jewish communities worldwide, Garance moved to Israel after October 7 atrocities to support those affected by the war, including in a year-long emergency response, before joining O7J.
With a background in disaster management, she has worked in climate change education, disaster resilience, and responses to climate, health, and terrorism-related crises. She holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Biology and two M.Sc. degrees—one in Physiology (University of Bordeaux) and another in Disaster, Adaptation, and Development (King’s College London). She speaks French, English, Spanish, and Hebrew.

Ben Cohen
Photographer & Documenter,
Creator of the “First Testimony” Project
Ben is responsible for documenting testimonies, including legal documentation, under Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed by O7J. He is a photojournalist, documentarian, editor, and creator of documentary films.
Since October 7, Ben has been leading the First Testimony project, in which victims provide detailed accounts of the atrocities committed.
Ben is a social activist and has been involved in various civic initiative movements in recent years and has rich managerial experience in the field of social action.
Dalia Segelman Seatter
Office Manager
Dalia is the office manager of the organization. In the past, she was the personal assistant of industrialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Eitan Wertheimer for 26 years. Before, she was the personal assistant of the chief financial officer of Ishkar Ltd. She retired about 3 years ago.


Att. Zohar Shpak
Evidence Collector & Investigator,
Kfar Aza resident
Zohar is O7J's field officer, responsible for field coordination and liaison. His extensive experience as both a police officer and a lawyer, combined with being a direct survivor of the massacre, make him uniquely suited for special assignments within the organization.
Danny Saar
Strategic Advisor
Danny is an entrepreneur as well as strategic and product professional with extensive experience as both a manager and a consultant across a wide range of private, public, and governmental organizations. He provides support in the development and oversight of the organization's strategy in various domains.


Att. Shani Aharon Busin
NGO Focal Point
Shani has over a decade of experience in international public action, project management, and promoting relations in the third sector. In the past, Shani served as the head of the Israeli ambassador's office in France, as the operation manager in the Program for Regional Cooperation at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies at Tel Aviv University, and as a project and logistics manager in various diplomatic initiatives in Israel and around the world. She speaks Hebrew, English and French.
